The Twa Sisters is an illustrated book that is based on the ballad, "The Twa Sisters" by Francis J. Child. I fell upon this particular ballad while I studied abroad in Galway, Ireland where I had the opportunity to hear a great deal of storytelling. Although this story isn't Irish, I was inspired to use it for my book.
